Madalasa Sharma

Madalsa Sharma (or Madalasa Sharma) is an Indian model and actress. She has acted in films made in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi, German and Punjabi languages.

Early life

Madalasa Sharma was born on 26 September to film producer and director Subhash Sharma and actress Sheela Sharma. After completing her schooling from Marble Arch school, she studied English Literature at the Mithibai College, Mumbai.

She stated that she "always knew that I wanted to be an actor". She joined Kishore Namit Kapoor's institute and took acting lessons and learned dancing under Ganesh Acharya and Shiamak Davar.

Career

Madalasa Sharma made her acting debut in the 2009 Telugu film Fitting Master by E.V.V. Satyanarayana. The next film she signed was K. T. Kunjumon's Tamil film Kadhalukku Maranamillai, which failed to release in theatres. The next year she made her debut in the Kannada film industry with Shourya. Also in 2010 she was seen in another Telugu film Alasyam Amrutham, receiving positive comments for her performance in the film, and Thambikku Indha Ooru, her debut Tamil film, which was a critical failure.

Her maiden Bollywood film Angel by choreographer Ganesh Acharya released in February 2011 without any hype. Her only release in 2011 was the Telugu film Mem Vayasuku Vacham and her role was well received. The Times of India wrote that she "plays the eye candy very well" and Fullhyd.com wrote that she was "pretty to look at, and very spunky". She then shot for a German film The Girl with the Indian Emerald (de) and the Punjabi film Patiala Dreamz which released early 2014.

Later in 2014, her second Hindi film Rajshri Productions' Samrat & Co. released. The film received negative reviews and was declared a box office flop. She had filmed for the Telugu films Feel My Love and Chitram Cheppina Katha, actor Uday Kiran's last film. In April 2014, she had stated that she has been working on three Telugu projects.
